David William Hughes presents a concert of Elizabethan songs for solo voice and lute, performed in the beautiful acoustic of St. John's Church.  These songs display the huge variety of emotions and themes that were expressed in English Renaissance music, and showcase the range and versatility of the solo voice.  David grew up in Winchester but now lives and performs in the USA, so he is very excited to be performing again in his home town!  'Hughes was perfect' - Times of Israel
